Marion Barber had over 100 fewer carries than Clinton Portis, but still had more TDs including receiving. He also didn't lose any fumbles. He plays hard, he plays well, he's a pro bowler, that's just it. Every year there are players who deserve to go but don't, that's a fair argument, but don't degrade Marion Barber, he's a beast. Oh and you could vote in healthy Frank Gore next year, I wouldn't mind that one bit.

All right, all right, I get it. Barber is a pro bowler. But this article could have easily been about someone else who was new to the pro bowl scene. Barber was just an easy target.

This article is pretty lame. I understand where you are coming from but like the other person said, "The fans only get 1/3 of the vote." That just goes to show what the players and coaches think of Barber. The fans only get 1/3 of the vote in the probowl selections. Barber would not have made the Probowl with the fan vote. He made it with the player vote .... that says a lot to me.
