Well This Is Awkward

So after weeks and weeks of pursuing the belle of the ball (Texas), the Pac-10 has failed miserably in its quest to expand to 16. Like a Jon Crier to Pretty in Pink’s Molly Ringwald, we chased the dame and fell flat, and no there is no Kristy Swanson to invite us to a dance.

Not even out of sympathy.

And what do we have now? Sloppy seconds. But Colorado used to be good, you say. Yeah, and Kordell Stewart used to be a quarterback. And good. Excuse me while I make a dismissive wanking motion.

Done. And some of you may have been wondering where are the Laker posts, with this being a California sports blog. Hopefully it’s coming soon, but I don’t want to fill TPIC across the board with Lakers posts. There’s already enough douchebags (me) on this website. If I add some So Cal flavor, this blog will enter Dualerio levels of douchebaggery, and that isn’t good for anyone (except Deadspin).
